So I listened again to a conversation Sam Harris had with Eiynah (aka Nicemangos) of Polite Conversations back in Nov 2016. Eiynah now spends most of her time criticising Sam Harris usually taking his words out of context or interpreting them with a distinct lack of charity.

🔥 WOW. Tariq Ramadan, the golden grandson of the godfather of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hassan al-Banna, is sentenced to JAIL for RAPE in France. Justice has been won by the brave voices of victims like @HendaAyari5, and the deep reporting of journalists like @CarolineFourest and @eksymons. Put on a moral high ground by institutions from @CAIRNational to Oxford University, Ramadan even admitted his extramarital sex but also slut-shamed his victims and his family and sycophants supported his myth-making. It’s a familiar story about corruption, hubris and power. It was my honor to interview Henda with Emma-Kate’s introduction. I still have my binder from 2015. I haven’t forgotten this tragedy. I made a spreadsheet of all of the transnational alleged victims. I know Carolyn also suffered greatly for investigating the witness of Henda and many victims but she and they never relented. This is a story, too, about moral and ethical consistency: liberal feminists who believed the testimony of women of Muslim heritage, rather than the intimidation of men (and women) who accused them of “Islamophobia” for daring to believe that justice doesn’t coexist with double standards or hypocrisy.
