The regime in Iran orders Hezbollah to bombard Israeli civilians. Israel hits back and crushes Hezbollah. The regime then cries foul as its premier terror proxy gets hammered. President Trump should ignore the complaints, support Israel’s strikes on Hezbollah including in Beirut, and order the U.S. military stands to open Hormuz.

Carney has utterly failed to protect Canada’s Jewish community. He won’t seriously confront the problem because his political coalition depends on Islamist and anti-semitic constituencies. President Trump should offer green cards to Canada’s 400,000 Jews — a peaceful, English-speaking, highly educated and successful community that would strengthen and enrich the United States.

Two weeks ago, an IDF soldier desecrated a statue of Jesus. Within 48 hours, the political establishment of Israel condemned it, and jailed the soldier. There were hundreds of thousands of posts. Today, 29 Christians were massacred by Islamists in Nigeria. Not a word. Weird.

In 1976, Iran’s GDP was $76B and Israel’s was $16B — Iran’s economy nearly 5x larger. In 2026, Israel’s GDP about $700B while Iran’s closer to $300B — Israel’s economy 2x+ larger — despite 90 million Iranians and just 10 million Israelis. The Islamic Republic is a disaster.

As the Jewish state, Israel cherishes and upholds the Jewish values of tolerance and mutual respect between Jews and worshippers of all faiths. All religions flourish in our land and we view members of all faiths as equals in building our society and region. Yesterday, like the overwhelming majority of Israelis, I was stunned and saddened to learn that an IDF soldier damaged a Catholic religious icon in southern Lebanon. I condemn the act in the strongest terms. Military authorities are conducting a criminal probe of the matter and will take appropriately harsh disciplinary action against the offender. While Christians are being slaughtered in Syria and Lebanon by Muslims, the Christian population in Israel thrives unlike elsewhere in the Middle East. Israel is the only country in the region that the Christian population and standard of living is growing. Israel is the only place in the Middle East that adheres to freedom of worship for all. We express regret for the incident and for any hurt this has caused to believers in Lebanon and around the world.
