Last week on a @Delta flight the FAs asked for medical help. There were a few physicians on the plane and an ER doc and I evaluated a passenger with new facial droop, clumsy speech and numbness in his face. Symptoms abated after about 30mins. Our assessment was TIA and as we had another 3 hrs in the flight, and even though the flight was already 2.5h late, we recommended landing the plane to get the passenger to a hospital for evaluation. The Delta doc on the ground who never spoke with the docs on the plane said ‘No he should be fine’.

US actions in Venezuela are clearly in breach of international law and as such must be condemned, including by the UK Prime Minister, regardless of the well-documented questions over Maduro’s legitimacy.
