@HailStateMuse My son was fishing on a golf course in Scottsdale after flags were pulled. A few kids came by and got stoked when he and a friend caught and released some bass. My son then taught them how to fish. The parents came out, said thanks and now my son is a guest of the owners.

The Spotify sessions acoustic version of Speed Trap Town is how I found Isbell some decade+ ago. That led me to this album.
This album, along with American Aquarium, changed what I thought songwriting could be and inspired me to write.
I’ll share this album with my kids someday

Saw a lady leaving the grocery store today and a wheel on her cart suddenly seized up like a bearing went bad but then the theft alarm went off and I noticed every cart had these two weird solid black wheels and then I realized they lock up on purpose when triggered by the alarm
