Second visit to Ireland currently, due to drive down and visit Muckross today but only got as far as Adare before we hit the #fuelprotest. Rolling protests I get - parked and stopping everyone for nearly two hours I don’t.

@MrBoothY6 I made that change many years ago, can only say it (like all ‘Insurance’ really) it is something you pay in the hope to not have to ever really use it. I still get a lot of emails about what’s going on behind the scenes. None of which ever seems to impact my day-to-day.

I'm starting Boy in the Tower by Polly Ho-Yen @bookhorse with my class later this week. It's a fantastic read-aloud, reminiscent of The Day of the Triffids. Takes a few weeks to read but the pupils always get very emotionally involved. What's your first class book this year?

@Lucillalin3 @LissaKEvans @lowrie918 If it’s a humour angle you’re after then you’re spoilt for choice with any books by authors like @mazevansauthor @MelTBessent @J_C_Pearson @Louiestowell. Depending on their age there are so many graphic novels too - younger readers love the Pablo & Splash series or InvestiGators.

@LissaKEvans @lowrie918 Please recommend something asap, my kid is pretty new to enjoying reading herself and sadly likes Walliams' books. I'm not going to tell her not to read the ones she has atm from library or mention these news, just would like to recommend someone else
