My parents are the ones who got me into video games. Their favourties (and then mine) were Civilisation 1, Dune 2, Lemmings and Catacombs (not 3d, the og top down). On the Gameboy, it was Tetris and Alleyway with a bit of Adventure Island and Pacman thrown in. Good times c:

@Venerabela It annoys me so much I do one of two things: become ungovernable and refuse to hit the blue cymbal, or edit the chart and fix that shit Should’ve added a pedal hi-hat mechanic if they wanted to differentiate between open and closed

Others: "Hey Vene, how have you been doing today?" Me: Oh... you know... 🫠 Whoever at Harmonix decided to make "charting open hi-hats as blue cymbals" standard charting instead of just implementing accents/ghosts, I hope your pillow is always warm no matter what side it's on.

@Miscellany_a @matr071 haha I totally can relate. I've always thought that about my voice too, being a bass, D2-E4. But getting into singing really helped break from that. It is rough at first, but when you sing along to stuff more, especially slow vocals within your range, you will gain an advantage.

@dunn003 @matr071 I use a piano personally; my voice is naturally monotonous so I can't find notes by voice for thr life of me 🤣🤣

@Miscellany_a @matr071 For sure! I've only just recently learned how to do them, using Reaper and a tuner to find the note. It takes a long while to do them when you start, especially if you're still learning how to use your voice to find the note, but you get better and faster at it over time.
