I'm really not a fan of ACF for WordPress sites.. but I do have to use it from time to time.. What @photomatt did is an absolute disgrace. He is single handedly ruining the entire WordPress community and ecosystem. I'll just build static sites + ghost from now on.

@WordPress I've personally helped ~100x more people that confused WordPress.com and WordPress.org and then find themselves unable to use themes/plugins that they planned on utilizing.. than those confusing WP engine as WP. When will this be fixed?

What you guys are referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX. Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called "Linux", and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux" distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

The existence of a raw vegan having a stroke doesn't make it any less obnoxious for the 65 year old woman with recent history of cardiovascular disease to continue her carnivore diet.

@DementKlement @Meghna_Antani @NutritionMadeS3 His doctors don't think the stroke was caused by diet, but that his diet is the only reason he is still alive. Omega 6/3 ratios are meaningless. I still don't understand how posting that video was any sort of "win".

@DementKlement @NutritionMadeS3 I don't think that anyone talks about short term risk of cardiovascular disease from pretty much any diet. These are diseases that take decades. I can't comprehend a person staying on a carnivore diet, at age 65, after having a stroke. Online influencers are killing people.

@dylanhowell @NutritionMadeS3 If carnivores share their CAC score = 0, then you say it takes decades to build plaque. If someone on carnivore diet for few months have a problem, then you blame the diet.

@DementKlement @NutritionMadeS3 CAC score of 0 is never going to mean that the person is low risk. ~30% of the 24,000 people in this study either had their first heart attack or died with a CAC of 0. jamanetwork.com/journals/jamac…
