Been using an induction hob for 5 years and have just cooked on gas for the first time in ages. Quite apart from the toxins I’m now breathing, the amount of waste heat, emissions, and money from using gas is a joke. Switch to induction as soon as possible; you won’t regret it.

An example given by @simonahac to illustrate how the Community Independents are disadvantaged in our electoral system; Today if you donate $1500 to Dan Tehan in Wannon, it's tax deductible. But, if you donate $1500 to Community Independent Alex Dyson, it's not tax deductible.

Hi @elonmusk, last week I sold the TSLA stock I have held for over a decade entirely because your words and actions are a dereliction of your responsibility as Tesla CEO. The proceeds will go to buying a lovely new EV from a competitor.

Record level snowfalls in Japan in 24 hrs. i dont think we will ever see snow like this in Australia, as our snow levels have been falling steadily in recent times.

@chromosundrift Automation has always and always will have an impact on the workforce, however the fact seems to be that there's always more work to do.

As AI replicates more economically valuable human work, this value is eroded. Valuable human work has always been circumscribed by uniquely human traits that seem to help fulfil uniquely human desires. After millennia of automation we are neither satisfied nor idle.

The so-called 'nuclear plan' is in reality, a smoke screen to prop up the fossil fuel industries, dismantling Australia's thriving smart renewables sector that powers homes at the lowest costs in history and employs 40,000+ workers.

What a total cop out & betrayal of the late Peta Murphy's legacy. There is support in the parliament to implement the Murphy Review recommendations in full - not some watered down policy to appease the gambling industry. Find some courage & end this harm smh.com.au/politics/feder…

It's harder and harder to use Twitter these days. I'm blocking left and right but all I see is rage-bait and conspiracies in my feed. Any tips to clean things up?

@CyberKo_ala @sydney_ev Yes Archies are the best. I got my first pair last year. No plug at all. Very comfortable. I don’t wear my havaianas anymore. Unless you’re flat footed I highly recommend

My thongs finally gave up, first pair to actually wear through the plugga, usually they break after 12 months. This pair lasted 2.5 years! #haviannas #footware.

@JC47053522 @sydney_ev @edave Hmm. The mine I work at just got rid of its remote control dozers because they were not as useful as having an operator on them. Took them years to work that out. Hydrogen will be the same.
