Nobody gave Ruto Mt. Kenya votes, he had it even before he picked his running mate. Unless you want to tell me that if Ruto did not pick Gachagua as running mate in 2022, Mt. Kenya would have voted for Raila.

A GOLDEN RULE of Kenya's presidential elections politics is that a running mate MUST bring with him or put on the table at least 2.5 million votes...from his tribesmen/women. William Ruto did it in 2012 and 2017. Gachagua did it in 2022. Prof Kithure Kindiki CAN'T do that in 2027. FACT!

So, if a Presidential candidate is serious about winning 2027, BOTH the candidates and their running mates MUST COME FROM ONE THE 4 TRIBES.

Malaba is in Busia County, completely different from Bungoma, Kakamega, and Vihiga. And that’s exactly the point you’re missing. Routing SGR through Vihiga and Bungoma would directly serve a huge population across all three counties, easily 80%+, with strong economic activity. That’s what the MPs are saying. This isn’t about geography confusion. It’s about planning a railway that serves people who actually live, trade, and move goods.

So I wasn’t wrong. Now, Luhya MPs and even a Kisii MP have said the same thing I raised earlier this year, today in parliament. That the SGR quietly sidelined Kakamega, Bungoma, and Vihiga. Vihiga Mp, Mp omboka, Mp Wanyonyi, and Mp Oundo have all raised it. They say the original plan that evnt the president promised was simple. It was to pass through; -Luanda (Vihiga) to serve Kakamega, -Mianga to serve Bungoma. With stations there. Then somewhere along the way, things changed. All routes and stations were quietly moved to Sondu, Siaya, Nyanza, and Sotik, with no clear explanation. And honestly, it doesn’t make sense. You skip busy, high-potential regions, like Vihiga Then take the railway to areas with less economic activity, then later wonder why the project isn’t paying for itself. If SGR is meant to sustain itself, shouldn’t it go where there’s real movement of goods and people? Even Moses Wetangula is now asking those in charge to fix it. So the question is simple: Who changed the plan, and why?

Without us, there is no maandamano. Without ODM, there is no real impact on the streets. Beg us. Kneel before us and disassociate yourselves with Gachagua. Maybe then we might consider. But for as long as we have our weight behind Ruto, he is going nowhere. He is here to stay.

I had high hopes with this Linda MWANANCHI team but after hearing the terms and conditions they gave their fellow ODM Linda ground to be one team,I am convinced that they are going no where. They are just bitter because they were not given leadership positions and that’s it. Yesterday it was an ODM affair and not a people’s driven movement so I wonder what will happen with the other members from other parties who had joined thinking it’s a WANTAM movement to save Kenyans from Zakayo. Linda MWANANCHI may soon change to Linda position ama Linda Power. Sina ubaya ni kusema tu ukweli.
