Jose (Jimmy) Ponciano passed away July 18th after a courageous battle with job related cancer. The Edmonton Firefighters Memorial Society offers our heartfelt condolences to the Ponciano family. Jimmy will be missed, RIP brother.

In advance of tomorrow’s procession and funeral, the Edmonton Firefighter’s Memorial Society would again like to extend our sincere condolences to the families of Constable Brett Ryan and Constable Travis Jordan and to the members of EPS.

We offer our heartfelt condolences to the Kinsella family after their sudden loss yesterday. Our thoughts and support are with you during this difficult time. Chris was an incredible man and his positivity & passion made our Fire Service a better place. RIP Brother.

On Sept 11 please join us for our annual Fallen Fire Fighters Memorial to honour those who have fallen before us. Ceremony starts at 10:00am at Edmonton Firefighter’s Memorial Plaza - 10350 83 Ave NW Edmonton. Active firefighters and members of the public are welcome to attend.

2/2 Both Justin and Travis sweated out +33 heat and over 17000 feet of elevation to complete the course together in 23 hours and 6 mins!! Incredible job and perseverance from both of you. This was Travis’s 6th time completing the race and Justin’s first! Great job!!
