It is not never setting a price benchmark rather: 1. Making housing affordable to middle and lowest class in Imo. 2. Conserving our very limited landmass for agricultural and industrial use. 3. The private proverty developers can leverage on that to build housing for upper class and super rich. Imagine a 19 year old Kiim-buom guy at hospital junction Owerri earning 8k/day and gets a unit (market value = 80m-120m) of flat in my proposed housing plan, he pays 3k out his 8k daily to the estate managers for maintenance for a period of 30 years as both rent and full ownership with C of O. What that means is IMSG government has lifted the guy out of poverty because the Kiim- buom guy now worth over 100m. In fact he can use that his house as security to scure a loan to buy a concrete mixers for hire.

Shelter, water are basic human need and universal human righr. Government providing any of them cannot be communism. US, Canada, Europe are all practicing capitalism but they build mass housing for its citizens. Why dont you argue that ENSG working hard to provide water for ndi Enugu is communism??

My brother Collins, maybe I should remind you that Apapa port dont have direct access to Atlantic but now it has been dredged and widened to take any size of vessel. From your stand point should we call Apapa port Riverport??? I am honestly looking for opportunity for us (me , you and 2 more Imo X influencers here) to chatter a boat and ferry from Oguta to Abonema Rivers state to see things ourselves. Mind you Nigerian Port Authority have a seaport there in Abonem. I dont know why people think it will be extremely difficult to dredge and widen Oguta waterways down to Abonema that linked with Atlantic ocean.

We can only have a Riverport not a seaport because we don't have direct coastline with the ocean, and yes a Riverport can do the job, an SE state is already pursuing that, but on the interim Onne seaport is not far from us.

The strategy is not woo the big FMGC manufacturers to SE. No! We are trying to build FMCG manufacturing and distribution hubs with lower cost and end user price in other to capture 90% of SE and SS market first before moving to other regions to compete market shares with those big FMCG there. In Aba, Valumbria are manufacturing floors, pasttas and noodle. Ultimum just started beverages, there are numerous FMCG manufacturers in Aba. In Imo, pharms, paper allied industries are doing well. Emerald, Canlex have caputured SE and SS market with their propducts. Morbukel is coming soon. In Onitcha, Tiger foods, Kotec etc are doing wonders. Those FMCG will pay for neglect their SE cash cow market

Here is the target spreadsheet for a major brand in FMCGs sector, the SE region is the king on fast moving consumers goods, our people must take advantage of this and site their production plants in the SE region, we have gas processing plants, good road network etc

2 out of the 4 major FMCGs distribution hubs in Nigeria is located in the SE region, yet we distribute majorly goods produced elsewhere, opportunities abound in tomato pastes, pasta, soda drinks, cereals, biscuits etc, we're outsourcing our logistics advantage to other regions.
