This morning, we laid to rest the daughter of our brother, The Director of the Heart Center and Head of Cardiac Surgery at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH). Dr Jibril Khalil who lost her life to a stray bullet at home. The reckless and dangerous trend of indiscriminate shooting during celebrations must be banned immediately in Maiduguri. This senseless act is claiming innocent lives and putting entire communities at risk. There is no justification for turning moments of joy into potential tragedies. Anyone in possession of a firearm must be held to the highest standards of responsibility and accountability. The government must act decisively enforce strict laws, prosecute offenders, and ensure this menace is completely eradicated.

@Galadima_Samaru The 4 year old didn’t recognize her FATHER but its the MOTHER that needs to resign to show her what? Who her FATHER is? Apart from financial providers everything else falls on the woman’s shoulders. Last time i checked the kids at creche were not dropped by their dads.
