I'm changing up my way of handling this LADS boycott. I'm going to continue to be sad that Valko is gone, and angry at the antis and potential competitors that caused this. I'm also still angry at Infold for the ways they failed us in the past, by not giving equal content to all LI's, etc. However this situation seems to have blown up beyond belief and I do believe Infold has their hands tied at the moment. The antis raised big problems, a competitor took advantage of it by buying more bots and getting the government involved, and now Infold is in deep shit. I do at this point believe that this is the reason they suddenly pulled Valko and have remained silent. I genuinely don't think they wanted to. Seeing the doctored videos, it's incredibly telling. News articles speed up the trailer to make it seem like MC is thrashing, cutting the video short to only a few seconds so it looks like Valko is hurting her when he's not. They're simply playfully wrestling. It's a huge smear campaign. Because of this, I'm going to temper my anger towards Infold. When this matter is resolved, I'll address it again with them. But further smearing Infold right now will only be twisted in the CN news right now, and it's not helpful. It is possible that Infold is working with the government to make the changes required by the government to release Valko at a later time. So I'll give them that grace, and will be focusing on trying to help post positively from now on to hopefully help change the narrative in the CN news. I'm still not going to play the game until Valko is back, but I'll be posting less criticism and focusing more on Valko's innocence.

This is more complex than people are realizing. Infold CANNOT defend themselves at this point. The Chinese state media made an article about them. This is not like CNN or CBS making a statement. This is essentially the mouthpiece of the Chinese Communist Party. If you're looking at this through the eyes of someone in an uncensored country, you're looking at this wrong. Contradicting state media is essentially defying the government. Doing so could be a death sentence to their company. ​If Infold released a statement arguing that the state media misunderstood the trope and that the Valko isn't actually dangerous, it could be interpreted as a refusal to accept regulatory guidance and an unacceptable implication that the state is wrong. The only thing they could do in that moment was try to stop the initial backlash and find a solution. We need to give them the time to comply with the government orders and find a way to prove themselves innocent without committing social suicide. I understand everyones feeling, as I've been furious too. I didn't initially realize how bad the situation was and solely blamed them for ignoring us as well. We all know Infold. They create wonderful characters, but they're money hungry. They would not give up a character and keep him gone knowing how much money he'd make. They were extremely adamant that he was staying until the day things got out of control in the media. That post by state news was essentially a government warning for them. Infold hasn't even updated their pinned posts, it's on the movie banner still (two banners behind). I'm sure they'd much prefer to advertise Wander in Wonder and try recoup their money.
