No doubt it’s a double standard. Some people can say whatever they want but others get fired for saying much less. Steve Kerr,Doc,Popovich have all run their mouths but they get absolutely nothing done to them. I’ve had coworkers that have tried to get me fired for my views. Sad but it’s true. Funny thing is they don’t even know that I know😁

Doc Rivers can rip the president and ICE as a "travesty" and a bad example for kids — totally fine. But let a player like Jaden Ivey speak his Christian faith, call out Pride Month as celebrating unrighteousness, or question certain "religions" that don't lead to salvation in Christ... and the Chicago Bulls waive him for "conduct detrimental to the team." One side gets a megaphone to attack the President daily. The other gets fired for offending the wrong group. @efisch17 @bstokley14 The NBA enjoys certain broadcasting privileges statutorily granted by federal statute. It remains to be seen whether NBA teams are “private employers” under the 1st Amendment. And it remains to be seen what Illinois employment law is. Regardless, what kind of society do you want?
