@MarkJCarney @lesliechurch I smell an election. Carney is getting generous and of course he didn’t double the budget for nothing. Electioneering costs big money, borrowed money that tax payers will have to pay back. Or maybe I’m jumping the gun? We’ll see.

@ircoutts Oops did I exaggerate? Well there are a lot of moving parts around that relationship with the UK. Expenses we don’t even know about including much of Carney’s party plane travels, royal visits, commonwealth expenses. God knows the final no. But it’s a lot more than you think.

Trump has approved permits for the 500,000 BPD Bridger pipeline, moving crude oil from Alberta through Montana to Wyoming. If the US can open doors for Alberta energy while Canada keeps closing them, it’s another reason for Alberta to become independent and control own future.
