The sneaky government are trying a new tactic to fool the Irish people into complying with Digital ID by suggesting that their digital wallet "allows" for registration for "key" social welfare benefits, such as working family payment. Be very clear. You can already do this online, without their digital wallet. You can apply by post. You DO not need their digital wallet to apply for working family payment or any other social welfare benefit. Under the EU Regulation on the Digital Wallet the government CANNOT restrict access to public services to those who comply. Do NOT be fooled. Do NOT comply.

I'm having a bit of a wobble I will definitely be voting @reformparty_uk but I do like Rupert Lowe and the messages he's sending out. I think he's maybe a bit too extreme and diplomacy goes out of the window with Rupert. Maybe it's time for being extreme and fuck the diplomacy. What do you think?
Ideally @RupertLowe10 & @Nigel_Farage could settle there differences but that seems unlikely which is a real shame.

NYC spent $81,705 per homeless person last year.. the median American household earned $81,228.. the government spent MORE to keep someone homeless than most families earned to keep themselves housed..
that $81,705 isn't going to the homeless person.. it's going to the system around them.. shelters, administrators, case managers, contracts, overhead.. the industry that manages homelessness.. not the end of it..
if NYC gave every homeless person that money directly.. they could afford nearly 2 years of rent.. most of them wouldn't be homeless anymore..
instead the money goes to the system.. the system keeps running.. the homelessness stays.. and every year they ask for more funding to manage the problem that the funding was supposed to solve..
the homeless are worth $81,705 a year to the system..
they're worth nothing to it solved..

Give credit where credit is due 👏. If it was not for Senior Counsel Una McGurk's brilliant expose that An Garda Siochana do not record statistics on ethnicity and nationality on PULSE, this issue would never have seen the light of day. Una McGurk was the first person to publicly highlight that the CSO do NOT publish statistics on immigration and crime because An Garda Siochana do not record statistics on ethnicity and nationality as a mandatory field.
At a Press Conference to launch the Womens Coalition on Immigration in Dublin on 2nd December 2025, Una McGurk launched a public campaign to call on the Irish people to hold the Minister for Justice and the Garda Commissioner to account by demanding that there is an urgent review of the mandatory fields on PULSE, so that ethincity and nationality are recorded.
As a result of Una McGurk's trojan work the government have been forced into a position of announcing that they intend to change the PULSE system to record ethnicity and nationality.
