Bhavesh Sonwani (AUMC) started his 1st 3-month secondment at FOG in Greece, supervised by Prof. Dionysis Xenakis and Dr. Henk Marquering. He will study how processor contention impacts real-time video codec performance in ambulance telemedicine within the ELIXIRION project.

🚀 Excited to share that our doctoral candidate Mr. Lazaros Liatsas from NearbyComputing joined MWC 2026 (2–5 March) representing Elixirion alongside Dr. Angelos Antonopoulos.

Our Doctoral Candidate, Lazaros Liatsas from Nearby Computing, has begun his secondment at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. He will explore agentic & explainable AI for ultra-low-latency healthcare edge orchestration. Wishing you a fruitful secondment, Lazaros! 🚀
