On Feb 24, H.E. Elias Nicolas received the President of the São Paulo Brazil-Lebanon Chamber of Commerce, former Sen Alfredo Cotait, and members of the Chamber’s Board. Discussions focused on strengthening Brazil-Lebanon ties, followed by a lunch at the Ambassador’s residence.

Amb Nicolas congratulated Amb Nabil Al-Dghoughi (Morocco) on his nomination as Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps, and the Amb Bader Al-Halibi (Bahrain) on his nominaiin as his Deputy, as well as H.E. Amb Ibrahim Al-Zaben on his nomination as Director of the League of Arab States.

Amb Elias Nicolas participated on Feb 5, 2026, in the first 2026 meeting of the Council of Arab Ambassadors in Brazil, held at the headquarters of the League of Arab States. The meeting discussed issues of common interest and approved the Council’s agenda for the current year.
