#UGDevelopmentPartnersExhibition Dear #UOT, I am writing to you today in regard to the subject matter as clearly stated in the hash tag. First of all, allow me to define what a development partner (DP) means? These are agencies that have been active in contributing to strengthening policy mechanisms and coordination structures, thus creating an enabling environment for the implementation of the various agendas through structures aligned to the national development. Having known what a DP means, one can have a chance to estimate how many DPs have been working with @GovUganda. Today, I will specifically make this a point. The #UGDevelopmentPartnersExhibition will not and should not be a medium of promoting hate speech, but a medium of accountability and transparency of these wonderful organisations that have been supporting mother land Uganda. As we position our economy for both regional and continental development, management and handling of the support from DPs critical. Our main emphasis will be on umbrella organisations like @UNinUganda, @EUinUG, @WorldBank, @IMFNews and many more others that will come up. We intend to carry on this exhibition from 8th April to 30th April 2024. Our ask, we need maximum Cooperation and respect as we handle this "sensitive" matter of course we shall also need to seek guidance from individuals and companies that have conducted similar activities. In a nutshell, we shall begin with @EUinUG. We have gathered data that we hope can be discussed with the relevant key stakeholders and we are looking forward to fruitful deliberations.
