THE YEAR I CHEATED DEATH (2022/2023) I CAN COMFORTABLY DESCRIBE THE FEELING WHEN A MAN IS ABOUT TO LEAVE THE EARTH... DISTANT FEELING... VOICES, AO DISTANT! I Lived, And So I Learned: A Story About Blood, Survival, and the Audacity to Keep Going In late 2022/2023, my body tried to write its own ending, and I said no. A few years before that, I almost died, and illness came for me quietly at first, and then loudly, and then with the kind of drama that only the human body can perform when it wants attention. I disappeared from social media for more than a year, and people thought I was resting, and I was actually fighting. I had three major surgeries in the space of two months, and after the second one, I was discharged home, and I believed, foolishly, that danger had finished its speech. And then my bathroom became a crime scene. I started bleeding, and it was not poetic blood, not symbolic blood, but practical, insistent blood. If I were not already a woman trained to look at blood and call it work, I would have fainted. Instead, I dragged myself, yes, dragged back to the hospital gate, and the world began to feel far away, like a radio playing in another room. They rushed me in, and my body went back under the knife for five more hours, and life was stitched back into me with thread and urgency. I was lucky, and luck wore a Saudi uniform. I was in a proper country. There was no long waiting list, no bargaining with time, and no argument about money. Surgery was done, and food was given, and drugs were paid for by the government, and I learned that geography can sometimes decide who lives long enough to tell the story. Gratitude is not abstract when it has saved your pulse. But survival does not come alone; it comes with shadows. In 2023, I was sickly, and I was tired, and depression came to sit beside me like an uninvited aunt. I could not help myself the way I usually did, and that scared me more than the blood. And yet, because life has a sense of irony, I travelled just weeks after surgery to sit for two major exams of my career, and I passed them. My body was weak, but my will was rude and refused to fail. And so, I thank God, and I thank surgeons, and I thank stubbornness. Because I am here. Because I lived. Because my story did not end in a bathroom. And because sometimes survival is not quiet; it is loud, and messy, and stitched together with scars, and faith, and the unreasonable decision to keep going.

I spent the weekend in Jos with my friends, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to escape for the weekend. Good weather. Calm environment. Also, very budget friendly. A thread 🧵

There's is time, dear sir/ma. You have almost the whole year. First, draw a timetable for yourself, and stick with it. Find a small study group 5 people max and revise frequently. Stay on the basics, and understand it very well. About your course mates, it's a normal thing, you have to decide not to be intimidated by it, be impressed but not intimidated. In the end, DM me, let's see what structures we can put on the ground. Nothing is beyond you!

Apostle Selman often says, “The things you are looking for are also looking for you but not this version of you.” There are certain things that will never come to us until we grow. Some blessings are delayed not because God is withholding them, but because giving them too early could turn them into a curse. Think of a father who gifts his 12-year-old a car. It is a good gift, but if the child begins to drive at that age, it could lead to disaster. So the problem is not the gift, it’s the timing and the level of growth required to handle it. In the same way, there is a version of us we must become before God can entrust us with certain blessings. That thing you’ve been praying and trusting God for may simply require your growth. God loves you too much to place certain things in the hands of an unrefined version of you. So Dear Believer, what’s stopping you from growing?

X ISN'T A FULL TIME JOB... BUT IT HELPS O... ELON PAID ME between 1-2 million naira in 4 weeks this January. I used to overlook the payouts, just give it our until family expenses hit me hard this month😃😃 i really want to appreciate my family members, big and small who push my posts, my subscribers. January was a month I really spent heavily for family(millions, millions of Naira). My close pals like @Wizarab10 @oku_yungx @FavorGrace90 @Invaluablemoi know what I'm talking about It's really a great thing to have another alternative source of income to settle some expenses. Family people will understand... this last payment was as if @elonmusk knew this young man is drained... "take this"
