All the Virginia house of delegates and State Senate seats are up in Virginia. Voting ends on Tuesday night. If republicans flip both chambers, Glenn Youngkin will have unchecked power.

In light of the NYT/Siena polls, if Tuesday goes poorly for Dems (e.g. Beshear loses, Dems underperform in VA), the vibes on here will go from unsettled to borderline panic. And if Tuesday goes well for Dems, the vibes will settle but many will say it means nothing for 2024. 🤷🏻♂️

🧵UNPOPULAR OPINION: Sometimes life destroys you and you don't have to find a reason or learn anything.
If you didn't already know, my youngest daughter was diagnosed with leukemia the week after her 4th birthday. After 2 1/2 years of chemo she is now 2 years cancer free.

The continued emphasis on deaths is a political and media strategy to mask the *ongoing* mass disability being wrought by this virus.

3/4 of the U.S. population has had a #COVID infection, and 1 in 5 develop #LongCOVID. Tens of millions in the U.S. have #LongCOVID and there is no cure. The Bureau of Labor Statistics has found that 4 million in the U.S. are out of the workforce due to Long COVID. It is time to act to help improve #LongCOVID patient outcomes!
The Treat Long COVID Act focuses on creating and expanding *multidisciplinary* Long COVID clinics, and *provider education*! The #TreatLongCOVIDAct will provide funding to these facilities to offer better and more accessible care, and hopefully clinical trials. We cannot get help, without legislative support providing the funding, that will help create pilots to identify and create #LongCOVID assessment and care protocols (Long COVID Standards of Care) that can then be shared/ used nationally!
We need each and every one of you to reach out to your members of congress urging them to support the #TreatLongCOVIDAct, and it only takes 30 seconds! Members of congress and their offices cannot, and will not, act on matters they do not receive massive outreach about from their constituents. 1 letter, 5 letters- don't do it! They use a tally system, so we need 50-100+ reaching out to each and every member of congress, and the #TLCA has been introduced at both the house and senate levels! In 2-ish weeks, we will have everyone follow up, with a more personalized message.

Imagine if Secretary Blinken totally disappeared for a month and Biden wouldn’t talk about it and people wonder if he had cancer or something and then it’s just announced he’s gone. This is China. It is weird, and should’ve been bigger news but the world has normalized autocracy.
