Kit man Jon, the gentle giant who had time for everyone, took his job as seriously as Pep Guardiola and looked after his players and staff with such care & attention.
Big Jon was loved by those at Liverpool and Man United.

Jon Humble - kit man to Manchester United Women and then Liverpool Women - died suddenly last month, leaving a huge hole at both clubs.

We are mourning the passing of our former kit lead, Jon Humble, at the age of 44 after a short illness. Our hearts go out to his loved ones from everyone in the United family.

Crystal Palace have become the first club to open a dedicated support centre for players after they’ve been released from the academy. 👏 The idea is to limit the risk of mental health issues for released young men. 🙌 The three-year aftercare package will support released academy players in making a way of life, outside of football. Not only are the Eagles smashing it on the pitch, they are smashing it off the pitch. Great initiative. 🦅
