Refactored some of my personal projects. I added git pre-commit hooks. It takes 2 minutes: uv add --dev pre-commit uv run pre-commit install Add a .pre-commit-config.yaml and use ready-made hooks. This catches problems before the commit happens. I wish I started earlier!

Most personal projects accumulate outdated or vulnerable packages. Add pip-audit to your workflow! You can also integrate it in your CI with GitHub Actions!
