Slavery Was Very Bad, but the idea that we can definitively identify the worst thing in history - and that it was the 10-20% of the historical human slave trade led specifically by whites - is just damned absurd. 🚨 Did Abraham (AS) really live ONLY in Canaan like the Bible claims? Or did he ALSO live in Mecca?
Non-Muslims have no idea about the full story of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him). The Bible gives pieces, but the Quran completes it. Here’s what the Bible itself actually says:
- Abraham was not a man of Canaan. He was born in Ur of the Chaldeans, that is modern day Iraq (Nehemiah 9:7).
- His family left Ur and moved to Harran in Turkey (Genesis 11:31). They were heading toward Canaan but settled there first.
- Then Abraham travelled to Egypt (Genesis 12:10).
- Later he settled in the land of the Philistines, Palestine, and lived there for a long time (Genesis 21:34).
The Bible records all these journeys, but it stops short. It does not tell the complete story.
That is where the Quran comes in, the final testament. It reveals what is missing. Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his son Ismail (AS) were in Mecca and built the Kaaba with their own hands.
The Quran does not just add to earlier scriptures. It corrects and completes them.
This is why Islam is the straight path.
