Markets are wavering fearing a military response. I don’t think there will be one this week. I think Trump needs to meet with Xi and address several diplomatic issues. Bombing Iran right now would present a very bad image to the Chinese who are allied with Iran.

I don’t think Trump will escalate Iran this week. Too close to his meeting with Xi. Volatility will be high nonetheless. Once the Xi meeting is off, I would expect escalation.
