@_Lil_Penny_@PistonOfTheDay I genuinely think the take that the Magic played their best is underplaying how much room for improvement the Magic had in that game. Scares me, really.
@PistonOfTheDay Definitely not true. Franz and Bane were no where near their best. Suggs fouled out, Paolo didn’t score in the 4th. You had almost double the free throw attempts, Cade dropped 40, you had home court and none of that was enough.
That was Orlando’s best game of the season.
That was Detroit’s worst game of the season.
Orlando visually dominated but barely got the win.
Let’s see what happens Wednesday.
Outplayed. Outworked. Outhustled. Outcoached.
Incredibly disappointing game 1 for the Pistons. The Magic led for all 48 minutes
The Pistons home playoff losing streak moves to 11
Pistons down by 4 at halftime. The defense woke up in the second quarter. Cade and Duren have been pretty bad, and DET is only down 4.
If they can get either of their all-stars to wake up in the second half, they should be in good position.
