Regarding Noa-Lynn van Leuven and the DRA's ruling today: It's okay to believe trans women should not be able to compete in women's darts. It's okay to believe trans women should be able to compete in women's darts. Everyone has opinions and the beauty of a free world is we can express those opinions and debate openly without fear of persecution or punishment. Regardless of your opinion though, we must remember there is a human being in the middle of this with feelings and thoughts who has been subjected to absolutely horrific abuse for trying to play the sport she loves. Debate is healthy, expressing opinions are fine and welcoming or disputing today's ruling is also fine. But to those who get a kick out of hurling horrible abuse towards someone who is just trying to play a sport we all love, what are you trying to achieve? Noa-Lynn is a great player who has proven that by winning a Challenge Tour title - an open tournament with both men and women - and I'm sure she'll continue fighting after today's decision.
