@kdrama_outofbox Idk, it seems that kdramas can not satisfy me any more. It was okay, I guess, but I'm not sure if this pairing is able to provide the chemistry we expect to see in a "rom-com" that's of course loaded with many trauma references, this plague!

It’s funny, because back when this bullying was supposedly happening, the word “bullying” didn’t even exist, let alone the act itself. 😅
If this phenomenon has taken on massive proportions in their society, exaggerating it in TV shows isn’t the right way to eliminate it.

I will never understand the criticism for Koo Kyohwan. He plays the role of a 40 year old eccentric loser whose entire existence, face, voice and personality pisses off everyone around him. Somehow people that don’t even watch the drama want it to be played by a younger actor that probably has the acting skills of a mannequin and a face filled with Botox.
He’s delivering the performance of a lifetime and dare I say the best male performance I’ve seen this year! But it doesn’t matter to people because he doesn’t fit into your beauty standards.
Please you people need to get this shallow bs off my TL. Park Haeyoung’s script is not your fast food kdrama, so focus on digesting the many visual fests that is everywhere and sit this one out!!!

#WeAreAllTryingHereEp2 laid the groundwork for what’s to come. It wasn’t as gloomy as the pilot episode, so I can say I enjoyed it.
I’m not a fan of Koo Kyohwan. I didn’t really like him in D.P. – the drama that made him famous (at least for me) – but I can’t help but give him full credit for his performance in #WeAreAllTryingHere. The Hwang Dongman he portrays is so real; he infuriates me, makes me feel sorry for him, makes me empathize with him. With a performance like this, he has secured a sure nomination (and perhaps a win) for the Best Actor award.
