He clearly wasn't going full throttle. He said as much in the post race. He will be just fine.

He finished 32nd, 6 laps down, off-pace speed-wise in a car prepared by the 1a/1b team of the 2nd highest series where he doesn't belong.
Of course I'm judging based on results. Welcome to motorsports.

And I'm not a hater. I like Garrett Mitchell the man, and love what he does off-track. I'm criticizing Cleetus Mcfarland the driver, who isn't great.

@koop_designs05 Nascar needs personality. The sport has been sinking since the legends retired. Dale Jr, Gordon, Johnson, Stewart, etc.
Cleetus is only racing 3 races this year amd next. RCR is capitalizing on his popularity while building him up to be a legitimate driver.

Nobody cares if women work. But MOTHERS should not say to their children “I could stay home and raise you, but I prefer to be at work. I’m going to pay someone $12/hr to raise you instead.” We created a 2 income trap. Pushing moms into the workforce was a mistake we need to fix.

Time for Cleetus Mcfarland to suit up for the second race of the day and his first ever race in the O'Reilly series. He's got his work cut out for him starting 35th. Should be a fun race at Rockingham.
