Last night on stream I had a deaf viewer tune in for the first time. He explained he was deaf in chat, I said wow that is so cool and I explained how we are teaching my daughter sign language. So I did the signs that first came to mind like, more, poop and please. Well, I wasn’t aware closed captions weren’t on so all he saw me saying to him was More Shit Please. (Poop and Shit are the same sign. Learned this last night as well) He was insulted, unfollowed and left my stream. I immediately sent him a whisper apologizing and explained everything he misunderstood. He responded and we laughed it off. I now have closed captions enabled and he is a member of the community ❤️
