We wanted to wait until the vet saw Bunsen but on Sunday night he pulled something in his back and had a hard time walking.
On Monday he improved, but at times had trouble laying down.
Today he is doing much better, no pain walking or laying down.
The vet figures it could be a similar thing (slipped disc) that happened in his neck- big dogs and older dogs are at risk for it.
With rest it should go away- and it looks like it is.
So the big guy is back on light activity.

Today I went with the humans to get the keys to our new home! The house that love bought!❤️
It was my first time in it. I found the front ramp and checked out the kitchen. The fridge spits ice if you push it with your nose!!! But the best part is the ramp to the backyard! It's not a big yard, but big enough for zoomies and ball!!!!
The next few days are gonna be busy. We need to finish packing. Move stuff. There's some adaptations that we still need to do to like taking some doors off until they get widened, and maybe making the kitchen more functional for a wheelchair. We didn't stay long today. Just long enough to measure some things and have a good play. We have a lot to do the next few days. The movers are coming Saturday!

Sergio made a visit to Georgetown, DC!
He’s away on business. He’s due home early next week. I’m so proud of my boy. Miss him so much but this is the best opportunity for him to grow and learn at dog training camp.

Friends! Something exciting happened! A parcel arrived for Baby Dog from our gorgeous X friends Freddie and Rebecca! Ron wanted to help open it, but Baby Dog wanted to do it by himself. Look at what was inside!!! It’s stunning and Rebecca made it herself. Baby Dog LOVES it! It’s covered in Dog pictures, and one of the pictures is of him! 🐶 THANK YOU SO MUCH @okey_rebecca ❤️❤️

It’s the big guy’s birthday today!
Bunsen is 8!
Kris and I got pretty emotional talking about how we almost didn’t have Bunsen for his eighth birthday as during the summer he almost died.
Each day is a gift, and Bunsen has been ever the gift to our family.

My phone hasn’t stopped ringing for the last 3 hours from texts and tweets about my boy Ben. I’m truly overwhelmed by how many people he touched-and from the bottom of my heart thank you for sending your best wishes and letting me know how much you loved him. This has been a really tough day and all your touching notes and messages have really hit home. Thank you for taking the time to reach out and sharing such beautiful words about Ben. Appreciate all of you.

I’ve had so many people asking me about Ben that I wanted to let you know-Ben had a 2nd chemo injection on October 23rd and from that day has been getting worse and worse. He has lost use of his back legs-almost like they’re paralyzed. He can barely walk. He hasn’t eaten in 3 days. I’m currently in Pennsylvania with a holistic Dr who is administering a 3 day Vitamin C IV hoping it will flush the toxics from his body and give him a chance. The next 24-48 hours will tell us if he has a chance or not. I’m so thankful for ALL the love so many have shown him over the last couple years. One of the hardest things I’ve gone through in my life. Ben is my best friend and companion. I love him with all of my heart. If you’re a spiritual person I’d love for you to pray for my boy. 🙏🏼 He’s currently in an ER hospital overnight and I’m picking him up tomorrow for another round of Vitamin C. Please pray for Ben and hope he pulls out of it.
