This study is a clean example that scientific disciplines have no meaning anymore: data science, molecular biology, immunology, and medicine are all facets of the same disco ball we call research 🪩🕺

In the same patients, cell substype and cell state abundances are altered in an intriguing way: almost no non-classical monocytes are found, while atypical immunoregulatory twins of killer NK and T cells emerge and likely flood the system with the wrong cytokines.
