Actress #LiGengxi talked about film #RESURRECTION (dir. Bi Gan, 2025) in an interview with 人民文娱
"Some viewers who’ve seen early screenings said it’s not an easy film to understand. Honestly, I felt the same when I first started filming RESURRECTION. Furthermore, my shooting schedule was tight, from nights till dawn, and I often felt like I was sleepwalking through a dream. Before I realized, it's already done.
It was unlike anything I’d experienced before. quite strange but fun. As the character slowly grew on me. Beyond the script, I completely surrendered myself be guided by the director and the character (itself). We didn’t even know what she’d become until we finished shooting.
It might be the most “self-like” role I’ve ever played. But whether she’s actually closest to who I am, I’ll wait till it premieres and ask my friends."

Li Gengxi is radiantly beautiful and come with a kick start with her FACE CARD in #RESURRECTION. The way she has so many oner (individually & together with Jackson Yee)... her immersion & consistency in emotion delivery won't be achieved with talent alone, she shows persistence.
