rendering takes so much time. i think my line work and sketches always look better than anything i've colored, even though it gets a lot less engagement. maybe i'll become one of those accounts that only ever posts b&w

I have absolutely no intention of pitting traditional paintings/illustrations against digital ones, and I’ll certainly continue using digital in the future, but I’m gradually growing tired of the flood of AI-generated images and realizing the worth of traditional ones again.

showing my fandom age but i used to make my own anime shrine websites on geocities, angelfire, tripod, cjb etc and they were listed on the anipike... i also had my own domains around 2000-2003 and made all my own layouts and designs in photoshop. it was fun
