If there was an imminent threat from Iran, Tulsi’s answer would have been: yes. It’s as simple as that. She wouldn’t have tied herself into pretzels with the ridiculous claim that only a President can determine that. She literally puts out an annual threat assessment.

It's abundantly clear (including admissions from multiple Trump admin officials) that Israel pushed Trump into this war on Iran.
Again, I have no qualms about bombing the Iranian regime back to the Stone Age. I do, however, question the timing.
Ask yourself: if the Israelis hadn't pushed ahead, would the U.S. be at war right now?
If the answer is no (it obviously is), then you have to conclude that this was not Trump's own choosing and Israel just dictated U.S. involvement in a foreign war for which we were obviously not wholly prepared.
We've been moving munitions from Asia (that we presumably need to deter China) to fight the war against Iran, for which the DoD just asked Congress for another $200 billion (which will increase the national debt with no plan on how to pay it back, other than the obvious: your children's future taxes).
I would take issue if this were Nigeria, Mongolia, or Estonia so heavily influencing U.S. foreign policy.

I’m going to believe the man who was a Chief Warrant Officer Green Beret who specialized in the Middle East, worked at a Tier 1 SMU, worked at Ground Branch, and then became the Director at the NCTC with full access to all of the intelligence.
It’s FAR less likely that he was compromised and far more likely that he has a better grasp on the issue than 99.9% of people on the planet.

Joe Kent is not some random bureaucrat. He is a decorated war veteran with a history of heroism and tragedy. But he also did a complete 180 on his opinions about attacking Iran. The real question is, what or who got to him?
