The worst writing decision they made in recent stories was reducing the Avatar State to just a power-up. What made it compelling before was how it felt like a terrifying possession overtaking the Avatar’s body, not something you’d pop out after every minor inconvenience

Let's be HONEST, Fire Lord Ozai should be lucky that Tagah was locked away for 5 thousand years. If not, fire Lord Ozai would be a forgotten threat to the balance of the world.
Tagah went 1v4(team Avatar) and k!lled all of them, he even unalived Aang in the Avatar State. If not for Korra and the spirit water, they would have all been dead for good!
Ozai was really lucky he faced Aang. If it were Tagah, Ozai will be dead within minutes🤭. Tagah is brutal air Nomad with no-nonsense combat skill. Ozai got lucky.
