Media, please stop using the term ‘silver tsunami’. It’s condescending and kinda ageist. Using the term conjures a discriminatory stereotype. It’s harmful.
A reminder: ageism is discrimination we commit against our future selves.

Have had crash course over the last week in navigating aged care and health services in 🇩🇰with my mum being hospitalised less than 24 hrs after I arrived. I feel beyond exhausted, but glad I made the choice to go back when I did as I needed to be here to work out what is wrong
