My app has around 340K users, but on iOS there are only ~1.2K ratings, and on Android around 4.1K ratings. Many people don’t know that iOS only shows reviews from your own country so even if your app has thousands of reviews globally, you might only see a few dozen. As for why he blocked you… no idea, bro 😆

@lukecarry_ yeah, i said at the end of my post "try things yourself" that's the whole idea actually i have a friend that uses tiktok web with a vpn and is having no issues (that's other approach i see few people talk)

@fer_chvs for sure and that's still the best way to learn but the same way you state a cloud phone is fine, I highly advise everyone to make their own opinion I did try cloud phones and had poor results on a longer term

"oh but you should buy a physical device and buy a VPN and blablabla" i literally just bought a cloud phone for $8/m, warmed up for 5 days and it's already distributing content for the us (and this cloud phone is really fast) stop listening to this tiktok gurus, it's all bs, try things yourself

@lukecarry_ at the end of the day we don't have any official info directly from tiktok so we're all guessing im trying all alternatives and documenting things by myself people here tend to state things as if they are 100% sure

@fer_chvs good for you :) it's like not warming up an account, getting a datacenter IP or not verifying your phone all of this can work... but chances are higher of getting shadow banned at the end of the day the algo assigns a fraud score based on all those criteria

i said "stop listening to this tiktok gurus, it's all bs, TRY THINGS YOURSELF" that's the point. every day these guys post that they know the ONLY way to reach US audience but after tried myself, it becomes very clear that was not the case, this is just hook to sell some shit im encouraging people to stop listening to just one opinion and test things out for themselves, instead of spending money on an iPhone + VPN

It'd be cool if it does work longterm, but calling everything bs because you had a whole 5 days of success is corny. "the truth is: tiktok doesn't provided any official info about this, so everyone is just "guessing" So experience doesn't matter? A large portion of modern marketing is "guessing" how algorithms work without any official documentation.
