Discarded tyres are too toxic for landfill... but when ground-up into rubber crumb and used as infill in 3G artificial football pitches (20,000 on a single full size pitch), they suddenly become safe... but, please don't be fooled, they can never be safe, they're full of carcinogenic, mutagenic and endocrine disruptive chemicals... which will harm your children, especially academy goalkeepers, as they have more contact with the ground and the dust gets directly into their grazes as they dive around. Isn't it ridiculous that those who control these industries, including our government and the sports stakeholder, don't care one bit about your children getting ill, losing a leg, or very sadly, dying? All they care about is the money... the many £Billions that they rake in. Your children don't matter!!! Please DO NOT let your children anywhere near 3G pitches. Please read the info in my tweets. .
