@PuroSpursDad Its better to judge how they perform by playoff. Season games are different. Fox perform well during playoffs.

Don’t get me wrong. I love Fox, but with the emergence of Castle and Harper, is he really worth the $45M price tag? I’m not convinced he finishes his contract on the Spurs.

I love Fox, and I think he’s so important to what we have going on, but I was expecting him to average more than 19 PPG at this stage with us. I’m staying patient tho

6 years later, Spurs have a chance to bring Bey on board. I think he should be the number 1 trade target if the cost is Jeremy and light draft capital. He fits in every way for what the Spurs need at 6’8”. Should be much cheaper than Herb Jones — definitely significantly cheaper than Murphy. He can defend multiple positions, gives the Spurs a strong 6’8” versatile presence at the 4/3 — which will be an extra body with the lower/stronger center of gravity to help defend Jokic/Sengun/Randle keeping them off spots — letting Victor roam. He can also help defend bigger wings & not put too much stress on Steph/Harp/Dev/Julian/KJ. He can spread the floor with his shooting (shot 38-40% a few years in his career & is trending back up recovering from a torn ACL — 34% this year). He has some in-between drive/playmaking equity off closeouts and most importantly he’s also a solid rebounder. He can bang & rebound in congestion. I’m all in on the Saddiq Bey train for the marginal cost.

I get Fox wants to be the best teammate possible but man you can’t have 8 total shots halfway in the 4th quarter. Need you to be aggressive looking for your own shot.

@SpursCulture Sometimes i dont like Castle shot selection. We need a wing defender that can defend players like KD but not a liability on offense. A wing that can shoot 3 to replace Barnes playing time. On the other side we are missing Vassel too .

@SpursCulture Turning point was when Wemby was subbed out just when we got the momentum. The coaching staff killed the momentum and Wemby was subbed back a little bit too late i think. Just when Sensebaugh made the three to extend the lead to 6 annd Jazz got they momentum back.

@DaigMuse @zeekuyg The advantage of SPURS is that they have 3 creators like Castle, Harper and Fox instead of just having Edwards only. Not to mention the gravity Wemby can bring in the game. When Edwards is on the bench they dont have other shot creator. Same as when SGA is on the bench
