@firstaidspray In the cgi films claire and Leon have so much tension like in a romantic way not any like enemy tension. So I think it was planned from the start in the og games but they didn’t execute it well or was debating on making leon be close to someone like that. (Ada is femme fatale so)

Idc whether you’re a Cleon or Aeon fan. The one thing that we must all agree on is that sherry is Leon and Claire’s daughter. Even if you don’t like Claire, the fact is that she is a mother to sherry and Leon is sherry’s dad aswell. Also, Claire and sherry are family to Leon. ❤️

@jillsandwhichh the Japanese version of that remake is her OG self, she's composed, serious, and has a professional demeanor the English version is more raw, frustrated and aggressive. both are great takes on the character but consistency should also matter so I can see both sides

@firstaidspray @_Flower_Thief_ @KSM66666 Ok they are lying in that interview since leon and Claire stories actively contradict each other all the way through. There is no cohesive story. But Requiem shows exclusively Leon A flashback, so it has to be Canon. Not to mention Ada.

Leon A Claire B was really funny for me because i reached the end of Leon’s story and then i got on the train and i was genuinely like “who the fuck is this”

@kamii_momoru the remake devs valued streamlining RE2R but it flattens the everyone's interconnected vibe that made the original feel alive one of the unique things about RE2 was the A/B scenarios & zap system RE2R leon comes off more detached from sherry, which undercuts the epilogue's imo

It was a bad decision to cut Route B from the remake 2 or to remove Leon and Sherry's interactions altogether. He takes her to the train when Claire is looking for the cure, and he also sneaks into the DSO to prevent Sherry from being subjected to experimentation.

@jillsandwhichh Yeah, and then he just turned out to be a lazy asshole instead. I would have preferred werewolf Chris to, “Ethan I told you to leave it alone because I was getting around to dealing with it but I needed to farm some aura first”. I know this is a hot take but I hated him in 8.
