Justice Sonia Sotomayor used an appearance this week to suggest that Justice Brett Kavanaugh is an out-of-touch elitist. The comments were a disturbing departure from the tradition of collegiality and civility on the court. It was unfair and unwarranted...jonathanturley.org/2026/04/10/con…

The DIGNIDAD Act isn't just an amnesty bill. It's a mass migration bill - and a terrible betrayal of the voters who put us here.

If Democrats win the midterms, it won’t be because of anyone Trump mentioned. To be honest, not even the war. It’ll be because of the Senate. Thune. Powerful people who are obstructing Trump. Podcasters are easy targets. Take on real power, Trump. March to the Senate!

@Cernovich I agree. Seems to me some of these podcasters should get their head out of their ass and realize it's not (only) about them. There's a bigger picture than their seeking attention at all costs.

🇺🇸 The American Culturist 🇺🇸
Grant and Lee are two of my favorite Americans for very different reasons. Robert E. Lee, perhaps more than any other American not named George Washington, was the epitome of nobility, exhibiting transcendent virtue and character. Lee is someone to tell your kids to model themselves after. Ulysses S. Grant, a much more flawed man, answered the call of his nation. He rose from obscurity while battling alcoholism. I don’t condemn him for having demons, I admire him for rising above them. Grant is someone to look to when you falter in your own life, remembering that even great men struggle from time to time.

Today in American History: 1865 Confederate General Robert E. Lee surrendered the Army of Northern Virginia (about 26,765 troops) to Union Lieutenant General Ulysses S. Grant at Appomattox Court House, Virginia. This effectively ended the American Civil War in the Eastern Theater after four years of fighting. The generous terms set by Grant helped begin the process of national reconciliation.

Pray with me April 10, 2026 Father, We know that apart from You we cannot truly see. Your Word says that the god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers, but You, O God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” have shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of Your glory in the face of Jesus Christ. So today we ask, open our eyes. As it is written, “Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Your law” (Psalm 119:18). Remove the veil from our hearts. Where we have been distracted, refocus us. Where we have been deceived, correct us. Where we have been hardened, soften us. Lord, give us eyes to see You clearly, not as we imagine You to be, but as You have revealed Yourself in truth. Let us see Your holiness, Your mercy, Your justice, and Your grace in Christ. Illuminate Your Word by Your Spirit so that it is no longer just words on a page, but life to our souls. Open our eyes to our own condition, that we would walk in humility and repentance. Search us and know us. Reveal anything in us that is not pleasing to You, and lead us in the way everlasting. Open our eyes to the world around us. Let us see people the way You see them, not as enemies, but as souls in need of Your mercy. Give us compassion, boldness, and wisdom to walk as light in the midst of darkness. And Lord, fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Lift our vision above temporary things, above fear, above confusion, above the noise of this world, and set our gaze on eternal truth. We declare that You are the God who gives sight to the blind. Do what only You can do. Open our eyes, awaken our hearts, and draw us deeper into Your presence. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
