And it's precisely because they're longtime friends that it would make sense, much more so than pairing Toph with some random person like in LoK. something I really dont like is how americanized the world, or at least Republic City is it would make sense if each nation was based on a different part of the world, but the entire world is modeled after Asian culture, it makes no sense for this to turn into 1930s America

@KoreDaSilva @kidomaki_real It's not a bad movie, it's a really good feeling to see something from ATLA, too. But it has the same flaws as LoK, and that takes away from the immersion of watching something about Gaang; giving the impression that you're watching more of an expansion of Korra's story

This entire movie was Mike and Bryan's attempt at getting back at ATLA fans for shitting on Korra. Notice that every single critique they had of Korra is present in this movie? The AS spamming, him getting played because he didnt listen(unalaq), got washed in the avatar state multiple times, almost destroyed the Avatar cycle. Has to constantly be saved. It's like they looked up every Reddit Korra slander and turned it into a movie, but with Aang. This movie is made out of pure spite.
