Enquanto fazia vídeos nas ruas tentando lacrar com idosos, moradores de rua e até adolescente autistas, dentro do gabinete a "cadeira do vereador" estava com poeiras... Silêncio, omissão, conveniência... tudo em troca de poder da lacração... E não dá pra dizer que foi distração. Não foi. Ele escolheu trair os princípios da ética pública, se é que algum dia teve. Mas ao saber que tinha um condenado por enriquecimento ilícito sendo nomeado pelo Prefeito de Curitiba, o gênio preferiu "esconder isso" enviando um áudio a seus assessores. Quis guardar essa informação como se fosse uma carta de baralho, pronta pra ser jogada quando lhe fosse conveniente. Isso não é erro é cálculo frio. É má-fé: “Esse cara, ele foi nomeado no turismo porque ele é ligado com o Jacobo né? Que é dessa ala do PL do Valdemar Costa Neto mesmo. É interessante a gente ter essa carta na manga e a gente usa quando precisar, mas eu acho que é cagada a gente soltar essa antes de precisar. Acho que tem que esperar os caras apertar a gente e quando os caras apertar, a gente tem essa carta na manga aí.” Mas no meio disso tudo, aconteceu algo raro: teve gente que disse “chega”. Nove assessores, que estavam ali dentro, vendo tudo de perto, decidiram romper. Abriram mão dos cargos e da estabilidade. Isso, num meio onde muita gente finge que não vê pra manter o próprio salário, é um ato de coragem imenso. Esses nove merecem ser lembrados. Eles escolheram a dignidade. Preferiram dormir com a consciência tranquila do que viver presos a um esquema sujo. É por isso que esse caso não pode ser esquecido. Porque não é só sobre um vereador. É sobre um modelo de política que se alimenta do silêncio, da conveniência, da covardia. É sobre romper com isso. E esses nove servidores romperam. Mostraram que ainda existe gente que coloca caráter acima do cargo. João Bettega poderia ter sido uma alternativa real. Poderia mesmo ter representado mudança. Mas preferiu se moldar ao sistema, até não sobrar mais nada da promessa inicial. Hoje, se entregou ao velho artifício de direita contra esquerda, tentando se agarrar a bandeira que o mantenha no poder, digo, no cargo público. Não por ideias. Não por um projeto. Mas por medo de cair no esquecimento. Mas ele não será esquecido, pois uma vez rato, sempre rato. Mas os nove... esses não. Eles são a lembrança viva de que a honestidade ainda respira na política. Eles são prova de que integridade não é fraqueza, integridade é força. Foram colocados diante de uma situação e quando tantos teriam escolhido se calar, eles escolheram falar. Quando tantos se protegem, eles se expuseram. Quando tantos se vendem, eles se recusaram a se dobrar. Esses nove não são apenas funcionários públicos. São cidadãos de coragem. São o que a política precisa ser. Eles são... e sempre serão muito maiores do que o gabinete que deixaram para trás. Esses 9 assessores, tem meu total respeito e admiração.
