Building free tools in 2025 feels like punk rock. No monetization. No dark patterns. Just vibes and JavaScript.

Crazy how the internet went from “view source” to “upgrade to Pro.” We really lost the plot. I’m just building stuff that can be made free and should’ve just stayed free. Starting with forms. → forms.freeinternet.tools

@getnachonacho Guess in this case the free tool pushes how much more polished the premium version needs to be before you can justify paying for it. A net positive for raising the bar of where we spend our budget!

@foundbryan If the free tool actually gets the job done, I’ll use it. I only pay when the polished version saves me enough time or frustration to justify the cost.
