No matter which social network you're on, following a diverse group of people helps you taking a peek at the other side of your personal filter bubble. You don't have to agree with everything and everyone, but please, at least try to listen to people and their opinions.

Does anyone know of a list of files, permissions and ownerships of a default macOS install?

@a_d_31 Well, first you filter by a certain hash tag (set) or search term, then you essentially do an inverse spam filtering. This results in a couple of Twitter links that you can view and either like or dislike. Training the system is the hard part, really.

@andrewvijay He's certainly quirky and seemingly overflowing with unlimited amounts of energy. But that's probably also the reason why his videos tend to never get boring.

I'm starting to enjoy programmers streaming their coding sessions on Twich / YouTube. There's a lot you can learn from watching someone working on a piece of source code, voicing their entire thought process. If you already discovered some channels, please share them with me!

@chvest @srbaker Still on Xorg, using the integrated Intel GPU. I don't personally use IntelliJ but I haven't seen a single app not scrolling as smoothly as expected.

@srbaker @chvest Fwiw, I'm writing this on a HiDPI display with KDE/Plasma and the setup was really straight-forward: essentially adjusting a slider. Give it a try!

@chvest I like KDE, but it does have a lot of knobs and switches.

What was the most motivating, satisfying or rewarding project you've ever worked on? Was it because of the project itself or the team you worked with? The money you made? The impact it had? The stuff you learned? Tell me all about it, I'm curious!

I got to get up in 4 hours and drive to the airport. I can totally see that working out beautifully. NOT. 🙄

@rick_777 It could have been a filesystem corruption too. Obviously software should never crash, though. You could file an issue on their bug tracker.

@rick_777 Might be a good idea to wipe your entire profile in ~/.mozilla/firefox

@rick_777 Running 60.0.2 here on ArchLinux. Haven't seen a crash in many months, I must admit. Which version & distro are you on?

@alexellisuk I wish, but alas, no Dockercon for me this year. Following everything remotely as far as that's possible.

@kaepora I'm not trying to bash anyone here, but it makes you wonder how many of the people who voted for Gnome actually tried KDE/Plasma within the last couple years. If they did, I think most people would have a hard time still clicking on Gnome in this poll ;-)
