what does it mean to have "good [music/art] Taste"? it feels like Taste ≈ a value system, and saying someone has a better value system is interesting if people have preference orderings over other Tastes, what do they look like other than "complexity" / "similarity to my own"?

@Nick_from_Texas @arithmoquine Not sure man, that seems to equate Taste with being a good predictor of popularity, but sometimes people are told they have taste because they like something *despite* it being unpopular
