The juxtaposition I see between the premillennial and the post/a millennial position is simply this... ...Jesus rules versus we rule. You can dress up the post/a position all you want but it's really all about "us," the Church. The premillennial position is all about Jesus.

Evangelical here. I don’t disagree with any of that. Not a fan of icons because I don’t think we have a good picture of what Jesus really looked like, and even if we did they wouldn’t match what he looks like now in his glorified state. I don’t worship what he looks like, I worship who he is.

What evangelical would disagree? Maybe the last one about icons. But even then, it’s not the existence of icons; just the way some may treat them.
