@Strictlyfootfe1 @moshibudi_ 100%. It’s not just made-up scenarios, it’s identity-building. People rehearse being victims or struggling in hypothetical situations.

@funmbofs @moshibudi_ I said this before, they make up scenarios where they're unhappy or abused just to validate their world view. Most of them haven't even struggled the way they imagine they would.

@thatgeminibloom You don’t erase single fathers by redefining ‘help’ as ‘disqualification.’ If that’s the rule, then nobody in a communal culture is parenting alone—including single mothers.”

@MpiloKhumalo_ Representation is not an obligation Featuring dark-skinned women is not a moral pledge that must be “fulfilled” in one’s private life. If we follow that logic, every artist would be required to mirror their creative output in their intimate choices, which is clearly untenable.

@audrey_kate_ Not necessarily true. Post partum tends to reveal the extreme in both partners coz it stress-tests two overwhelmed nervous systems at once, and what you see is often stress behavior, not someone’s true baseline character. over time, you both adjust, grow, and find your way back.

@MaryashMiss In 2026 having a different opinion is called hate, all the while people come to social media to share their personal lives unprovoked expecting millions of people to validate their life choices. It’s a mental illness!

The hate comments from men is proof that many men use having children as a way to have power over women. Bc why would you be mad I’m not giving birth? Or spreading the gospel for others who want to opt out? Y’all kill me fr

@MereMortalM @RefilweMoromane So you’re redefining the group to stay right 😂. If a liberal man behaves badly, he’s not really liberal, basically, anyone who contradicts liberal values stops being liberal. Instead of saying some liberal men fail their own values, u say those men don’t count.

@funmbofs @RefilweMoromane Well liberal is usually a stand-in for supporting personal freedom. So if these men fail to support personal freedom, then they are surely, definitionally, not liberal.

Liberal men don't police who women date. Liberal men don't call women hoes for existing. Liberal men don't kill women for saying no. Liberal men don’t think purchasing a drink is consent. Liberal men don’t enable each other to literally violate women’s constitutional rights to dignity. Liberal men don’t go around calling single mothers “used up/washed up”. Liberal men aren’t raping atleast 200+ women daily. But hey if that’s your definition of  “the MOST liberal”… then what exactly is your bar?
Msanchoo@Msandi305

South african men are some of the most liberal men on the planet, that notion is entirely false. I won't downplay the violence women face In this country because its horrendous but comparing them to that is just disingenuous.

@ummuh_Zahra It’s an interesting story, it’s not wrong, but it’s selective and has self centered framing. A lot of I need/felt/, no curiosity about his limitations, growth is one sided, leaving is framed as “honest” option. It’s stories like this that keeps red pill content alive

@ummuh_Zahra Expecting mind-reading, then calling it neglect, u frame emotional needs as higher-value than his contributions, your unmet needs become the defining metric of the relationship. Effort is assumed on one side only. U assume intent, and then present the outcome as inevitable.

When I left my marriage, the first question people asked was: “Did he cheat?” I said no. They looked confused. “So why leave a good man?” Yes, he was a good man. He didn’t cheat. He didn’t hit me. He provided. He came home every night. But I was slowly disappearing. I would talk, and he wouldn’t hear me. I would cry, and he’d say, “You’re too emotional.” I needed comfort and got silence. There were nights I was unwell, restless, struggling beside him, and he never noticed. Not even a simple “Are you okay?” I started asking myself: “If something happens to me here, will he even know?” One day I told him, half-joking but serious: “My fear is that I could be dying, and you wouldn’t notice.” He laughed. But I meant every word. That’s when it hit me: A man can be good and still be emotionally absent. I didn’t leave because he was bad. I left because I felt alone in a place that was supposed to feel like home. So tell me: Is presence more important than provision in marriage? And if you were in her shoes, how long would you stay? 💭 Cc: chinyere charity
