if toto wolff dares to utter the word "luck" one more time in his life istg. bad luck is getting a random puncture or getting taken out by another car on lap 1. mechanical issues & failures, wrong set-ups or subpar decisions by the pitwall are not bad luck. it's incompetence.

Saat bendera kuning, para driver diminta untuk masuk ke area pit, George secara sukarela mengatakan bahwa ia bisa menghapus penalti tersebut karena di posisi tersebut ia unggul 12 detik di depan Gasly, sehingga jika dia membayar penalti nya, ia tetap berada di posisi yang sama. Namun pada detik ke 49, Marcus mengatakan ke George bahwa ia hanya perlu melewati pit saja dan tidak perlu berhenti, secara tidak langsung ia mengatakan bahwa penalti sudah clear dari Safety Car yang di keluarkan ketika insiden Stroll sehingga ia tidak perlu berhenti untuk membayar penalti ketika masuk pit. Kembali lagi ke detik ke 13, Marcus mengatakan bahwa mereka sudah melewati pit 5 detik di pit terakhir mereka dimana itu adalah [durasi] penalti George dan hanya cukup menunggu dari Race Director.
